Anna Silk

Anna Silk was born in January 1974. Her most popular role is Bo in the Showcase's Lost Girl television series. Silk was born Fredericton, New Brunswick, Canada. Ilkay Silk as well as Peter Silk both were scholars. Ilkay was also a director, producer and playwright. Silk is the Director of Drama at St. Thomas University. In Fredericton on April 10th the couple renewed their vows following her change of religion to Judaism. Silk was blessed with a son who was named Samuel Jerome Cooperman on May 13 2013. Levi Aaron is her second baby boy, who was born on the 13th May, 2016. Silk has played a range of roles on television, among them Cassidy Holland from Being Erica. The actress was nominated to win a Gemini Award in 2009 for her performance. In 2009, she was cast in the main character role of Bo Dennis a succubus in the Canadian television series Lost Girl. Silk told fans of the show the good news that she had become pregnant during the filming of Season 3 during an exclusive pre-show for Season Three. This was presented by Showcase at an exclusive Season Three show held January 6, 2013 before the show's premiere. Silk announced on Twitter on June 20, 2013 that production was underway for Season 4. In June of 2013, Showcase and Prodigy Pictures confirmed that production had begun for the Fourth season. The CNN Cable News Network named her performance as Bo along with Lauren (Zoie Parker) on Lost Girl as same-sex couples as one of their most-loved television Couples.
